Scan list

The scan list is a table containing data about created scans. By default, rows are sorted by the scan creation date. The most recent scans appear at the top, with the oldest listed at the bottom.

Important

If no scans have been created yet, the New Scan button will be displayed on the Scans page.

You can use the Filters button to open the options panel and filter the list by the required fields.

Data in the scan list

Scan information is organized across the following columns of the table:

Column name Content
Checkbox Checkboxes for selecting one or more scans. Check the top checkbox in the column header to select all scans
Target A link to the scan details page, represented by the target’s URL
Start Date Date and time the scan was launched
Scan Type The scan type selected when the scan was created. See the Scan types table for details
Status Indicates the scan status
Duration Time elapsed since the scan was started
Issues If issues were found, an infographic showing their distribution by severity level will be displayed. If no issues were found, the field will be empty
Locations The number of resources and endpoints discovered during the scan
Organization ID This column is visible only to users with Super administrator permissions. The value in this field shows the identification number of the organization for which the scan is being performed
The context menu button , when clicked, shows action buttons that can be applied to the scan. For example: View, Repeat, Delete, or View, Pause, Abort. The available actions depend on the status of the selected scan and the user's permissions

Available actions

Important

You must have Super administrator, Administrator, or User level access rights to create and start a scan. See Roles and permissions for more information.

You can use the context menu to view the scan, as well as to pause, resume, or abort a scan in progress. These actions can also be performed using the buttons located above the list.

Group actions: Pause, Resume, and Abort are available to manage scans in the list. To apply an action to multiple scans, select them using the checkboxes.

To view the scan details, use the link provided in the Target column.

To pre-evaluate a scan without going into the details, you can use:

  • The scan status. For example, the Warning status indicates that not all scan modules completed successfully.
  • Markers in the Issues column. Markers appear when issues are found during the scan, so pre-evaluation is possible even when the scan is not yet complete. The marker colors indicate the severity of the detected vulnerabilities, and the numbers inside show how many were found.

If more than 9 issues are found, the marker will display 9+. When you hover the cursor over it, the exact number of issues will be shown.

If the scan is complete and there are no entries in the Issues column, it means no vulnerabilities were found for this target.

A list of recent scans is also available on the Overview page.
